Rasmus Quist Pedersen is appointed by the Board of Directors to assist with planning, directing and advise on the investor relations policies, objectives and initiatives of the UBX organization. Currently serving as the Senior Portfolio Manager at Maj Invest Global Value Equities, a prominent value-oriented fund headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Rasmus plays a pivotal role in driving investment excellence. With his extensive background as a former World Champion, club owner, and certified Level 2 Coach, Howard offers a unique perspective. Mike Andrews is a highly experienced international Intellectual Property and Business lawyer and a Registered Trade-mark Agent with over 35 years of practice. He is the Founding and Senior Partner of Andrews Robichaud Professional Corporation, a reputable law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to clients in the fields of domestic and international intellectual property, business and related services. Mike's clients range from small business owners to Fortune 100 companies, and include industry sectors spanning business, high technology, biotechnology, consumer products and services, sports, entertainment and the arts. Mike serves as the Chief Legal Officer of UBX World, where he oversees the corporate legal department and is responsible for the legal affairs of the entire corporation. Drawing on his experience as the founder of the IBL, a Canada-wide badminton league, and his career as a former professional badminton player in Denmark, Malaysia, and Jamaica, Charles leverages his extensive global expertise to create impactful, community-based programs. In his role, he coordinates UBNEXT initiatives with a focus on nurturing athletic potential and fostering competitive play. By utilizing the World Badminton Rating as a standardized index, Charles ensures that each athlete experiences meaningful and motivating competition, aligned with UBX World's commitment to building an inclusive and thriving badminton community. Surabhi Kadam, MSc, CPE, joins UBX as a co-host of "UBX World LIVE" to discuss the sport of badminton and its development in North America.
A decorated badminton player, Surabhi has achieved great success in her competitive years with several wins on the provincial, varsity, national, and international levels as a former Team Canada athlete. Stemming from badminton, Surabhi’s passion for optimizing human performance and injury prevention has led to her impressive career as a board-certified ergonomist and safety consultant. Professionally, she excels in combining her knowledge of body mechanics with her technical expertise in work systems to enhance safety and efficiency in various industries. As a personal mission, Surabhi is keen to use all her skills and experience to play a part in Badminton’s continued rise in popularity.
Surabhi has recently co-hosted the Canadian Junior National Championships where she shared valuable badminton insights on a national broadcast. Her determination, intelligence, and exceptional people skills distinguish her in both - sports and professional realms. Surabhi's leadership, commitment to excellence, and ability to inspire make her an invaluable asset to the UBX World Team.

As an integral part of the Canadian legal system, Ian Lagden is professionally educated, insured and licensed by the Law Society of Ontario to protect the public interest, to maintain and advance the cause of justice and the rule of law. With a wealth of International experience in his professional career, Ian became an exceptional BWF Referee, officiating at the highest levels of international competition, including the Pan Am Games and Championships, Commonwealth Games, World Team Championships and World Junior Championships. As a former board member of Badminton Ontario and Badminton Canada's National Officials Committee, Ian is recognized as the authority on badminton officiating policies and procedures in Canada. Currently, Ian serves as the Commissioner of the UBX Professional League, where he is responsible for overseeing its overall operation and administration.
