TEAM MATCH & FORMATS

TIE FORMAT

  • Singles 1

  • Doubles / Mixed Doubles 1

  • Doubles / Mixed Doubles 2

  • Doubles / Mixed Doubles 3

  • Golden Set (If 2 - 2 Draw)

TEAM FORMAT

  • 4 - 7 Players per team (any gender combination)

  • Equalizer points

  • 8 - 0 Points (WS vs. MS and WD vs. MD)

  • 5 - 0 Points (XD vs. MD and WD vs. XD)

  • No player can play more than 2 matches per tie (except in the golden set). The same pair cannot play twice in the same tie (except in the golden set).

  • A golden set is 1 set of Singles or Doubles/Mixed Doubles to 21 points (change sides at 11).

OTHER DETAILS

  • Flights and Divisions B, C & D based on skill rating and number of registered teams.

  • Teams provide their own Tournament Grade shuttles for ties/matches.

  • Players from each team are required to bring shuttles to the court at the start of the match.
